Professor Kumar will be presenting an Invited talk on 6 Oct 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey in the 21st International Metallurgy and Materials Congress (IMMC 2022) with the theme of "Global Warming and Climate Crisis". His talk is entitled "The enabling role of materials chemistry towards net-zero carbon".

Professor Kumar will be presenting an Invited talk on "Batteries" in McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada on 1 September 2022. McMaster University is a world reowned research university and is also Prof Vasant's alma mater. Please stay tuned for this talk.

We are super excited to share the great news, that Professor Vasant Kumar was recently appointed as a Fellow of International Association of Advanced Materials (Sweden) on 25 June 2022 in recognition for his contribution to "Battery Materials and Technology". The felicitation ceremony is on 11 October, 2022 in Stockholm.
