Professor Vasant Kumar recently presented at Li-ION 2021 international conference from December 1-3, 2021, joinly hosted by the Open University and IIT Hyderabad, and supported by Indian Goverment Department of Science and Technology, Royal Academy of Engineering, UKIERI, and many others. Professor Vasant's invited talk on "Beyond Li-ion Batteries: Prospects for Li-S Batteries" was very well received, and raised a lot of discussions.
MCG Ph.D. candidate Minfei also gave an oral presentation on Li metal anode protection novel approach, this oral presentation leaded to an award of Best Student Oral Presentation (Ranked 2nd), and a Cash Award.
