Research experiences

MRes projects on the development of silicon/carbon composite anodes for ultrafast-charging lithium ion batteries and on the study of charge-transport interlayers in perovskite-inspired solar cells (2018)

MChem project on the development of a method for the electrochemical detection of a psychoactive substance (2016)

One-year industrial placement at Merck working on the development of organic thin-film transistors (2015)

Research interests

My research is currently focused on the development of new, low-cost anode materials for sodium-ion batteries. PhD project funded by the CDT in Graphene Technology (EPSRC).
