Have you ever thought about the about the potential impact of your research or how you could translate this to commercial applications? Join colleagues from the Materials Department and experts from Cambridge Enterprise for a workshop designed to explore these questions.
We’ll be joined by Professors Vasant Kumar and Xavier Moya, who will reveal how they maximized the impact of their research, the process they went through and the key decisions they had to make.
The workshop will be an interactive event with participants having a chance to discuss their research and explore its potential impact through group discussions. You do not need to have an idea for something to commercialize to attend the event, just an interest in how your research can have impact. The target audience is PhD students, PDRAs and early career researchers. To assist with the event this year we would also appreciate feedback from those who attended the event last year.
The workshop will run from 12:30 to 16:30 on 23rd May at the Materials department, with lunch included. As places are limited please submit an application via the google form:
