MCG Ph.D. candidate Minfei was awarded the Best Poster Award by Professor Andy Xueliang Sun at the International Battery Materials Association IBA 2021 Annual Meeting (IBA 2021), at Xiamen, China, October 24 - 29, 2021. Minfei's presentation on Li metal anode protection is a collabrative project between the University of Cambridge and Nankai University.
The annual meeting of IBA is one of the most reowned international battery-field conferences starting from 1975. IBA 2021 this year again features a range of notable speakers in battery-related field, including our own Professor Clare Grey FRS from Cambridge Chemistry.
Professor Andy Xueliang Sun received this year's IBA 2021 Technology Award. He is a Canada Research Chair in Development of Nanomaterials for Clean Energy at the University of Western Ontario, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. He is the presenter for the Best Poster Award, along with Professor Yong Yang, Chairman of IBA 2021.
