Research Interests:

Advanced materials for renewable energy and sensor applications
Mixed ionic–electronic conductors: Perovskite, nicklates, etc.
Interface effects in heterogeneous and nanostructured solid
Charge transport in disordered systems: molten salt, molten glass, Nafion, etc.

Projects:

R&D on advanced materials and metallurgy technology projects, sponsored by EPSRC (SOFC (2013 and 2015)), TSB (solid-state sensor (2012)), and UKIERI (sustainable processing of strategic metals (2010 and 2012)); leading a solar fuel project, sponsored by Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr. Foundation, US; managing projects as main researcher with industrial partners, including corrosion of alloy in molten glass (2015), solid-state oxygen sensor on chip (2014), solid-state humidity sensor in super-dry environment (2013), molten salt metallurgy of Nb3Sn (2013), coating for photocatalysis (2012), solid-state CO2 sensor (2012), thermodynamic properties of quaternary molten salt mixture (2011).
